“I wrote ‘Tears in the ocean’ in 2015, influenced by many articles and stories I read about human-created waste that has deliberately or accidentally been released in the sea or in the ocean. A great variety of objects made by man were found ashore. Of all the waste found in the worldwide ocean, 80% is plastic. According to wikipedia.org, in 2017 the UN estimated that by 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the oceans if substantial measures are not taken.” (Roxana Moișanu)
